Begin your journey early from Kampala or Entebbe, heading north to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where you can see wild white rhinos. With a ranger guide, take a short walking safari to observe these endangered giants up close in their natural habitat.

After lunch, continue to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest protected area. On arrival, take a short drive to the Top of the Falls, where the Nile forces its way through a narrow gorge and plunges 45 meters below. The thunderous sound and misty spray are breathtaking.

Check in to your lodge and relax for the evening.

After an early breakfast, cross the Nile to the northern sector for a game drive across the savannah plains of Buligi or Pakuba. With your guide, look for elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, hartebeests, warthogs, and a wide range of bird species.

In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise on the Victoria Nile, heading upstream to the base of Murchison Falls. This scenic ride is filled with sightings of hippos, crocodiles, elephants along the banks, and countless water birds. The cruise ends at the foot of the falls with a chance to take photos and feel the force of the water.

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast and, if time allows, take a short nature walk or optional morning game drive. Afterward, begin the return drive to Kampala or Entebbe, passing through the scenic landscapes of Nakasongola and Luwero districts.

Stop for lunch en route and arrive in the late afternoon or evening, marking the end of your exciting Big Five safari.
